The Director of Youth Ministries' position is designed to provide a consistent program that makes the youth feel part of the church while exposing them to Christian morals and values. The Youth Director must be selfless, committed, encouraging, and empowering. The Youth Director must be committed to Jesus Christ and the Episcopal Church and feel called by God to do this work. The Youth Director must have relational and pastoral skills to work with young people as well as adults and be able to coordinate volunteers and work as a team member. He or she must have skills in planning, organizing, and communication. Lastly, the Youth Director must love the young people we serve with a passion to show them the love and joy that Christ wants in their lives.

Requirements and Qualifications
The Youth Director shall have a bachelor's degree or be working towards a bachelor's degree in a related field, be experienced in youth work and be Biblically literate. He or she shall be a mature, outgoing adult with high moral integrity, blended with a sense of humor, exhibiting the qualities of creativity and self-direction. The Youth Director shall be accepting of individuals.
